Other than family, there’s not a lot I have missed since moving to the beach. Enjoying fall color is an exception! Over the past 20 years, I’ve gotten used to the “less-than-stellar” display of changing leaves….usually in mid to late November that is the norm here. Back home in Tennessee, the third week of October was leaf-watchers week throughout the Appalachian Mountains.

This year (fall 2019) has been an exceptional year for a former leaf-watcher.  I’ve shared a few random shots taken to and from work. Looking back at them makes me wish I had taken more time to photograph and enjoy them. Perhaps some of you took the time to capture some color. Would you consider sharing them by tagging our Facebook page @BeachSceneUs
