ALD™ Championship Series

Amateur Long Drive, Inc is a Myrtle Beach, SC based company and owner of the ALD™ Championship Series long drive competition and ALD™ World Championship. The series consists of leagues, regional (major) qualifiers, and the annual world championship. Leagues are operating across the USA and Canada as of this writing with ALD™ events in India to commence by the end of 2019.

ALD™ World Championship

The annual ALD™ World Championship has been held in Myrtle Beach, SC for three straight years with plans already in place for August 13 – 15, 2020 at Barefoot Golf & Resort. The championship brings the best amateur long drivers in the world to Myrtle Beach competing  in divisions from Youth to 80+.

ALD™ Regional Major Qualifiers

Regional Qualifiers are held across the USA and will soon come to Canada. Qualifiers offer competitors a one-and-done shot a t getting into the ALD™ World Championship. ALD™ operates 6 to 10 qualifiers annually.

ALD™ Coastal Carolinas League

The Amateur Long Drive, Inc staff operate the Coast Carolinas League out of the company’s home office in Myrtle Beach. The league will produce 10+ league events per season with competitors collecting World Ranking Points (hopefully) on their way to the World Championship.

In addition to the Coastal Carolinas League, there are ALD™ leagues in the USA in Utah, Nevada, North Carolina, Florida, with plans for California, Virginia, and New York in process. In Canada there are leagues in Alberta and Ontario with more growth coming this season to include Niagara events.

ALD™ Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ)

The season ends July 31st leaving two weeks before the World Championship. Any competitor who has not attempted or has failed to qualify for the World Championship may enter the Last Chance Qualifier. The aptly name LCQ is the last opportunity to compete in the World Championship.
